Summer 2011

The wildflowers in the Northland in June are stunning. Here I am among the Lupines, just steps away from our trailer. It’s late June, yet I am wearing my wool sweater! It’s woodtick season, so I’m fine being covered up.

While June is sweater weather up north, my friends in my winter home of Blanco, Texas are sweltering in 100+ degree weather and no rain for many, many months. Whew.
